Aruba
Palm Beach
Aruba keeps it simple: warm weather, white-sand beaches and a stay that never feels over-planned. The days find their rhythm quickly, with time on the sand, happy hour by the pool and evenings built around good food and long conversation. Two days out, a catamaran morning on the north coast and a Jeep day through Arikok National Park, add adventure without overloading the calendar. The last night is a private dinner on the terrace, cooked by a local chef with fish caught that morning.
An annual spring girls' trip working its way through the Caribbean, landing on Aruba for its reliable warmth, beaches, restaurants and direct flights.
Every spring a group of us makes a point of getting away together. We've been doing it for a number of years and it has slowly grown over time. More recently we've been making our way through different Caribbean islands, trying to pick somewhere none of us have been. This year it was Aruba. It came up in conversation and the more we looked at it the more it made sense. Warm and reliable in late April, beautiful beaches, a reputation for great restaurants, and direct flights from Toronto. It had everything we were looking for and we didn't need much more convincing than that.
That’s the first look. Members see the rest of this route.
