Buswells Hotel

Dublin, Ireland

City Hotel
Worth Considering

Five Georgian townhouses knocked into one hotel on Molesworth Street, across from the Dáil and five minutes on foot from Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, and Grafton Street. Operating since the 1880s, it has a loyal following among politicians, journalists, and returning visitors who want a central Dublin base with genuine character at a reasonable price. The traditional bar, leather sofas and an open fire, is the room most guests remember.

What It Is

A central Dublin address with genuine character, close to Trinity, Temple Bar, and the Irish parliament.

What It Is Not

A design-led hotel. Old-school Dublin done well.

Worth Considering
