Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort

Scottsdale, U.S.A.

City Resort World of Hyatt
Worth Landing On

Scottsdale’s first Grand Hyatt, converted from the long-running Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch after a complete renovation in 2024. Ten pools across 2.5 acres, anchored by a sand beach, a waterslide, and an adults-only cascade pool with mountain views. Chef Richard Blais oversees six restaurants. Spa Avania sits on its own 2.7-acre site with a private pool. Twenty-seven holes of golf are reserved for guests and members. The resort is large, amenity-heavy, and oriented toward families and groups who plan to spend most of their time on the grounds. Old Town Scottsdale is ten minutes away by car.

What It Is

A full-scale desert resort with pools, golf, spa, and enough on site to fill a week.

What It Is Not

A boutique hotel, an intimate retreat, or a place you book for the room alone.

Worth Landing On

On an Arizona trip where the resort needs to keep families or a mixed group occupied for several days without leaving the grounds.
