Salom Inn

Bukhara, Uzbekistan

City Inn + Guest House
Worth Landing On

Salom Inn occupies a traditional Bukharan Jewish house in the pedestrian heart of the old city. Antiques sit alongside work by contemporary Uzbek artisans, and a vine shaded courtyard becomes the centre of the house. Breakfast is cooked each morning and brought to the table course by course. But it is the hospitality that tends to stay with people. The host anticipates what you need, helping with the small things as readily as the bigger plans, and the family’s Silk Road agency is next door. Lyabi Khauz is steps away and most of old Bukhara is walkable.

What It Is

Worth Landing On
