Shinta Mani Wild, Bensley Collection

Cardamom Forest, Cambodia

Wilderness + Safari Nature Lodge Condé Nast Traveler Awards
Worth Building Around

You arrive by zipline over a waterfall. Designed by Bill Bensley and set along 1.5 kilometres of wild river at the crossroads of three Cambodian national parks, Shinta Mani Wild is fifteen luxury tents perched above waterfalls, each one inspired by Jackie Kennedy's 1967 Cambodian safari and furnished accordingly. Everything is included: cocktails, spa treatments, meals foraged from the surrounding forest, and a personal adventure butler who can arrange anything from orchid-spotting hikes to motorbike patrols with Wildlife Alliance rangers actively dismantling poachers' snares. The conservation work is real, funded directly by guest stays.

What It Is

Jungle decadence, personal butler, and an adventure.

What It Is Not

An inexpensive choice, and you'll understand why the moment you arrive.

Worth Building Around

If adventure, immersion, and genuine pampering in the Cambodian jungle sounds exciting to you.
