The Sarojin

Khao Lak, Thailand

Beach + Coast Boutique Hotel Michelin Key and Condé Nast Traveler Awards
Worth Considering

An hour north of Phuket, where the coast quiets down and five national parks press in from behind, The Sarojin sits on an 11-kilometre stretch of private white sand that feels removed from the world. Fifty-six residences, no children under ten, and a staff whose attentiveness is consistently the first thing guests reach for when trying to describe the place. Breakfast is served à la carte until 6pm. Private dining can be arranged by a candlelit jungle waterfall, on the beach, or on a sand island offshore. The Similan Islands dive sites are less than an hour by boat. Service, sand, and no reason to rush.

What It Is

A calm, well-run beachfront property between Phuket and Krabi.

What It Is Not

A destination in its own right.

Worth Considering

If a genuine beach escape is the priority and Thailand is already familiar territory.
