Beach + Coast Family Trip March 2017

A week on one of the Caribbean's quieter islands, with a luxury resort base and two long beaches. Pool and beach days set the rhythm, broken up by nine holes of golf, a private boat trip out to an offshore cay and a self-guided ATV ride to the far east end of the island and a tiny shack bar. Easy days, with adventure when it was wanted.

Behind the Route

A warm-weather March break escape, seeking an upscale resort for a family with active boys who weren't going to sit on a beach all week.

Best For Families after a relaxed luxury Caribbean week, with room to add adventure.

In search of a warm-weather escape for March break with the kids, we landed on Anguilla. I had been as a teenager and remembered its amazing white beaches and laid-back feel. We also wanted to try a particular resort.

Ages in group: Adults (30-65) and Young Teenagers (12-15)
